The Project consists of all labor, materials, and services necessary for the timely and proper completion of scope of work outlined in Bid Package for the Clear Fork Middle/High School HVAC Improvements ("The Project"), all in accordance with the Contract Documents. Bidder shall furnish a Bid Guaranty, as prescribed in Sections 153.54, 153.57, and 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code, in the form of either: (1) a bond for the full amount of the bid in the form of the Bid Guaranty and Performance Bond included in the Contract Documents; or (2) a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid. The bid amount shall be the total of all sums of the bid including all add alternates but excluding all deduct alternatesThe Board of Education reserves the right to reject any, or part of any, or all of said proposals. Successful bidder/s shall be required to furnish bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract/s for both performance and labor and materials. SCOPE OF WORK A. Work includes, but is not limited to: 1. Furnish and install new rooftop units. 2. Coordinate new equipment structural sizes and locations for all new equipment. 3. Furnish and install all required condensate, equipment and drain piping. 4. Furnish and install duct insulation. 5. Furnish and install new instruments as shown. 6. Furnish and install new ductwork. 7. Furnish and install air balancing. 8. Perform final setting and leveling of all new equipment. 9. Perform start-up for all HVAC systems and commission same in accordance with the commissioning requirement. 10. Provide and/or participate in training of Owner's personnel on the use of all new HVAC systems. 11. Refer to drawings for Schedules of HVAC Equipment. 12. The contractor shall exercise adequate protective and safety measures for all persons and property and shall be responsible for any damages or injuries arising from the execution of this work. 13. Alterations and additions to existing work shall include the requisite dismantling of the old equipment, rigging, wrecking, hauling, protections of permanent equipment and the building structures, and cleaning up. Care shall be exercised to keep dust and dirt to a minimum and to confine it to the area where the removal work is being performed. All debris shall be promptly removed.
