Cottonwood Creek Channel Rehabilitation Reach 1 and Reach 1B Estimated Project Magnitude: $4,000,000.00 - $5,000,000.00 Project #1 - Cottonwood Creek Channel Rehabilitation Reach 1 (FEMA FUNDED) Project #2 - Cottonwood Creek Channel Rehabilitation Reach 1B (SWENT FUNDED) These two projects are directly adjacent to each other in Cottonwood Creek. Reach 1 is FEMA funded while Reach 1B is SWENT funded, therefore each project will have separate awarded contracts to a single lowest bidder for the total of the two projects. Both projects will be issued to one single vendor and will not be separated to 2 different vendors. (Project #1) The Reach 1 project generally consists of the construction of 7 sculpted concrete drop structure, 5 sculpted concrete vane structures, riprap, sheet pile, grading, plantings, and restoration along approximately 2,500 linear feet of Cottonwood Creek directly upstream of the intersection of Austin Bluffs Parkway and Woodmen Road. This section of the project is partially funded by a FEMA grant. (Project #2) The Reach 1B project generally consists of the construction of 1 sculpted concrete drop structure, 1 sculpted concrete vane structure, riprap, sheet pile, grading, plantings, and restoration along approximately 1,000 linear feet of Cottonwood Creek directly upstream of Reach 1.
