Call for tenders number: CNIM2022-019 Brief description of the project: The work will consist of adding ventilation and air conditioning units, as well as its distribution in the building over 4 floors. Site targeted by the work: CHSLD Our Lady of Mercy 555 Gouin Boulevard West Montreal (Quebec) H3L 1K5 Deadline for completion of the work : From May 15, 2022 to July 14, 2023 The BIDDER must accompany his Bid with a bid guarantee equivalent to TEN PERCENT (10%) of the price proposed in his Bid. This bid security must be produced in one of the following forms: a) a bond issued in favor of the PUBLIC BODY by a Financial Institution as defined in the tender documents and which must conform to the model indicated in the Tender Form; b) an irrevocable letter of guarantee issued in favor of the PUBLIC BODY by a Financial Institution as defined in the tender documents and which must conform to the model indicated in the Tender Form. Any Submission received after the scheduled date and time or received in a place other than that indicated is automatically declared non-compliant and returned to the sender unopened. Only BIDDERS having a business office in Quebec or in a province or territory concerned when an intergovernmental agreement is applicable and holding the license required under the Building Act are eligible to bid. A BIDDER holding a restricted license issued by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec or registered in the register of enterprises ineligible for public contracts (RENA) and whose period of ineligibility for public contracts has not ended, is not eligible to submit a Submission; these two cases of ineligibility are also applicable to the Bidder's subcontractors. The Bidders are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their Bid; and must inform them of the conditions they intend to impose on them and ensure that they hold the required permits and licenses. Submissions will be publicly opened immediately after the time and date set for receipt of Submissions. BIDDERS who so wish may attend the opening of the Bids, which will be carried out by a representative of the public body in the presence of a witness. Question and clarification: BIDDERS who wish to receive information or clarifications on this call for tenders must do so in writing (email) by communicating with the contact person indicated in this call for tenders and taking care to mention the title and number of the call for tenders ( Upgrading of ventilation and air conditioning systems - CHSLD NDMCI - CNIM2022-019 ). The PUBLIC BODY reserves the right not to consider a request for clarification made by a TENDERER if this request is sent to it less than THREE (3) working days before the deadline date and time set for the receipt of the Tenders. The visit is not compulsory but the fact of not taking part in it cannot be used as an excuse or a pretext for errors, omissions or irregularities on the part of a TENDERER. Each BIDDER is responsible for delegating a representative to this meeting. In addition, the PUBLIC BODY assumes no responsibility vis-à-vis the BIDDERS who did not show up for the site visit with respect to the information that may have been given during the latter. Performance bond and materials and services of each corresponding 50% is required *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
