Supply Contract for furnishing to the Arkansas Department of Transportation SIGN AND/OR DELINEATOR POSTS according to specifications attached to and made a part of this bid, at pricing set forth for the period beginning July 1, 2022 thru December 31, 2022, with an option to renew for six month periods as mutually agreed. All or None bids only will be considered. The Department is not obligated to purchase any specific quantity or make purchases at any specific time during the contract period. It is estimated that approximately 20,000 - 12' Sign Posts and 10,000 - 6' Delineator Posts will be purchased during the contract period. A typical order would be a minimum of 1200 - 12' Sign Posts, 3600 - 6' Delineator Posts, or a combination of the two items so that the minimum shipping weight of the order would be between 40,000 lbs. and 45,000 lbs. to approximate a full truckload. Orders larger than the minimum will also be calculated to correspond to full truckloads. Delivery of any order shall be made within 60 days. Bid Bond in the amount of $500.00 required of all bidders at time of bid opening or bid will be rejected. Personal and company checks are not acceptable as Bid Bonds. See Condition 4 of Standard Bid Conditions. Performance Bond in an amount to be determined by the Department, not to exceed $5,000.00, will be required of successful bidder prior to providing goods/services. ARDOT reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept bids in whole or in part (unless otherwise indicated by bidder), to waive any informalities in bids received, to accept bids on materials or equipment with variations from specifications where efficiency of operation will not be impaired, and to award bids to best serve the interest of the State.
