Renovation of a medical facility in Butner, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Central Regional Hospital (CRH) is one of three State psychiatric hospital in North Carolina that is operated by the Division of State-Operated Healthcare Facilities (DSOHF) within the North Carolina Department of Health & Human Services (NC DHHS). The hospital provides psychiatric and medical care to adults and adolescents in 25 counties in the central region of the North Carolina. CRH also serves children ages 11 and under from all 100 counties of North Carolina. CRH operates a Central Utility Plant (CUP) to provide heating, cooling, hot and cold water throughout the hospital. Built into this system is redundancy that can provide coverage for a short period of time. CRH is entering the high demand cooling season in which both 1200-ton chillers will need to run continuously. The intent of this solicitation is to award an Agency Contract for the provision of installing two (2) chilled water taps in the existing supply and return piping for the purpose of connecting additional chillers to the chilled water supply lines.
