The Contractor shall protect all property, monuments, trees, existing structures, utilities and work of any kind along and adjacent to the work under this Contract against damage or interruption of service. Damage, injury, loss, or interruption of service resulting from the failure to do so shall be repaired or restored promptly by the Contractor at his own expense. B. The Contractor shall shore up, brace, underpin, secure, and protect as may be necessary, all foundations and other parts of existing structures adjacent to, adjoining, and in the vicinity to the site, which may be in any way affected by the excavations or other operations connected with the construction or reconstruction of the work embraced in this Contract. C. The Contractor shall not enter on or make use of private property in the prosecution of the Project unless written permission therefor is secured in duplicate, from the owner, one copy of which shall be filed with the Engineer. He shall promptly restore or repair, without cost to the Authority and in a manner satisfactory to its owner, property damaged or destroyed by his operations.
