Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to establish a Contract with one (1) qualified and experienced Contractor for construction of improvements at VRE's Fredericksburg Station located at 200 Lafayette Boulevard, Fredericksburg, VA 22401. B. The Fredericksburg Station is located on the Fredericksburg Line at CSX Transportation (CSXT) Milepost (M.P.) CFP 59.30 in the City of Fredericksburg, VA. The proposed improvements to the Fredericksburg Station include the rehabilitation of approximately 125-feet of the southern ends of the existing side platforms adjacent to both Tracks 2 and 3, which are currently not in service. In addition to platform rehabilitation and repair work, VRE intends to add a set of stairs at the south end of the station to provide an additional access point to the side platform adjacent to Track 2. Other improvements to the Station include electrical and lighting upgrades and an expansion of the station's public address system. All existing bridge/structure mounted highway signs will be removed and replaced with the project. Submission of Written Questions May 31, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. EST
