LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION OF WORK The Stillmeadow Elementary School Playground is located at 800 Stillwater Road has a pour-inplace surface that is at the end of its useful life's span. Also, the playground has a brook running through and adjacent to it. Therefore, there is a need for drainage upgrade before the installation of the new playground surface. The playground equipment has been inspected and is in a good condition and for that reason will remain as installed. SCOPE OF WORK The scope of work shall include but is not limited to the following: removal of existing playground surface; installation of a new drainage system that will be connected into the existing storm sewer system; installation of a new pour-in-place surface; repair of safety zones around some existing playground equipment and planting of new shrubs and as specified in the construction drawings and specifications attached in this section.
