Project Description: Project consists of two Building Sites on the Norfolk Botanical Garden grounds, encompassing the following: Entrance Pavilion: New Entrance Pavilion with bistro/bar and kitchen. Green roof accessible by elevated walkway connection to Conservatory. Conservatory: (2) Special Exhibit biomes, a desert biome, and a tropical biome, and supporting facilities, connection to elevated walkway. Parking Garden: Expansion and improvements of existing parking lot, which integrates rain garden storm water management features, lighting and overlay refinishing. Water Education and Rowing Center: Roof canopy provides shelter to an open-air water equipment storage enclosure, restrooms, and paved area. Gangways and floating dock into Lake Whitehurst and a boardwalk along the shoreline. Small separate storage building, and an electric Golf Cart storage garage building (as a bid alternate.)
