The project generally consists of replacing an existing 134,000 gallon sludge holding tank using the existing foundation and starter ring. All work will be included under a single contract. The set of bid documents will include an electronic version of the same. Checks for contract documents shall be made payable to the raritan township municipal utilities authority. If neither the owner nor the engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of contract documents, including any addenda, obtained from other sources. Faxed bids will not be accepted. The attention of the bidders is called particularly to the requirements with respect to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid as required by the contract documents. The bidder shall comply with p.L. 1999, c.238, the public works contractor registration act, as amended by p.L. 2003, c.91 (n.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et. Seq.); and the business registration provisions of n.J.S.A. 52:32-44 (p.L. 2004, c.57).
