The Lester-B.-Pearson School Board currently owns fifty-three (53) buildings. Maintenance service is required for 13 of its buildings. The buildings of the School Board are located on the territory of the island of Montreal in the following cities: Beaconsfield, Dorval, Lachine, Lasalle, Pierrefonds, Pincourt, Pointe-Claire, Verdun, and Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue. All of these buildings are within a radius of 60 km from the administrative centre, itself located in Dorval. The service provider will be selected by the School Board on the basis of the lowest price low according to the provisions of the applicable regulations. All tenderers must comply with the requirements contained in the tender documents, including the addenda. These can only be obtained through the electronic system. The days and hours of operation of the School Board offices for the receipt of tenders are Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The tenderer is responsible for obtaining an acknowledgment of receipt when submitting its bid. The tender envelopes will be publicly opened at the same place and at the same time, in the presence of a witness. In the event that the School Board has to close its doors due to exceptional circumstances, the deadline and time for the receipt and opening of tenders will be postponed to the next business day, at the same location. INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENTS This public call for tenders is subject to the following liberalization agreements: ALEC, ACCQO, AQNB. CONTRACT LENGTH The services covered by this call for tenders are required for a period of 5 years, from July 1 , 2022 to June 30, 2027. TENDER GUARANTEE The service provider must accompany its tender with a tender guarantee valid for a period of 45 days from the date and time limit set for the receipt of tenders, representing 10% of the total amount of the tender excluding all applicable taxes in the form of a bond issued by a company legally authorized to stand surety for the School Board, a certified check in the name of the School Board or an irrevocable letter of guarantee in accordance with the provisions of the model letter of guarantee provided in the appendix, issued by a bank, a savings bank or credit or through a trust or savings company. RESERVE The School Board does not undertake to accept any of the tenders received.
