Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bon Air, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The McRae Road and Rockaway Road Pedestrian Improvements involve the construction of grading, tree removal, sidewalk, shared-use-path, curb & gutter, drainage, stormwater BMP, and a mini-roundabout for approximately 4,000 LF along McRae Road between Forest Hill Avenue and Rockaway Road. The work will include clearing, grading, tree removal, paving, drainage, erosion & sediment control, signing, pavement markings, adjustment of utilities and other items necessary for the completion of work. Contractors must be on VDOT's current Pre-qualified list at the time/ date set for the opening of bids in order to be eligible for this contract.
