Pearson School Board is issuing a public call for tenders for the monitoring of alarm systems in its establishments in order to ensure the safety of occupants and to prevent intrusions and fires. The contract will be for a period of 5 years, from July 1 , 2022 to June 30, 2027. The Lester B. Pearson School Board currently owns fifty-three (53) buildings. The monitoring service is required for all these buildings. The buildings of the School Board are located on the territory of the island of Montreal and the Vaudreuil Soulange region in the following cities: Beaconsfield, Dollard-Des Ormeaux, Dorval, Hudson, Kirkland, Lachine, Lasalle, Pierrefonds, Pincourt, Pointe -Claire, Verdun, Saint-Lazare, St-Télesphore, Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue and Vaudreuil. All of these buildings are within a radius of 60 km from the administrative centre, itself located in Dorval. The service provider will be selected by the School Board on the basis of the lowest price according to the provisions of the applicable regulations. All tenderers must comply with the requirements contained in the tender documents, including the addenda. These can only be obtained through the electronic system. SUBMISSION GUARANTEE The service provider must accompany its bid with a bid guarantee valid for a period of 45 days from the deadline date and time set for the receipt of bids, representing 10% of the total amount of the bid excluding all the applicable taxes in the form of a bond issued by a company legally authorized to stand surety for the School Board, a certified check in the name of the School Board or an irrevocable letter of guarantee in accordance with the provisions of the model letter of guarantee provided in the annex, issued by a bank, a savings or credit union or by a trust or savings company. RESERVE The School Board does not undertake to accept any of the tenders received.
