Demolition, site work, paving, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in North Mankato, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the addition of a 30,000-square-foot fitness / recreation center; for the demolition of a fitness / recreation center; for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center; for site work for a fitness / recreation center; 275-space sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and playground / park / athletic field.

As of July 22, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The indoor rec center is an 85,000 square foot facility with added alternates to increase the facility to 115,000 square feet. The project includes but is not limited to: 1. Site preparation for the facility and 275 parking stalls 2. 4 tennis courts and 6 basketball courts. 3. Center core common space with check-in desk, elevator, stairs, kitchen/concession, seating areas, viewing areas, restrooms, and elevated viewing. together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications. The plans and related documents are available at city hall and by request via dropbox. Any addendums may also be distributed by mail, fax, or email. Award of the contract while requiring payment and performance bond from contractor. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in their discretion, the interest of the Owner would be best served thereby.
