The Town of Corte Madera is inviting qualified consulting teams to submit a proposal to provide civil engineering, land surveying, geotechnical, structural, transportation and public outreach services for the Hart Street Connector Project, funded by a grant from the Transportation Fund for Clean Air (TFCA). The project is a multi-use path (MUP) connecting the Corte Madera Path with Hart Street in Corte Madera. Pedestrians and cyclists currently use a worn, 3-foot-wide dirt path to reach Hart Street. This unofficial trail is narrow and steep and is often unusable when subject to rain or other weather conditions (See "Figure 1" and "Figure 2"). In addition, the Palm Avenue and Hart Street intersection experiences "cut-thru" traffic during morning and afternoon commute hours. Questions concerning the RFP should be submitted via e-mail.
