4", 6" and 8" Sewer Cleaning & Video Inspection - Phase 1 in the Borough of Victory Gardens. The Work to Be Performed Shall Consist of the Furnishing of All Labor, Equipment, Materials and All Else Necessary to Jet-clean and Video Inspect Approximately 130 L.f. Of 4" Sewer, 120 L.f. Of 6" Sewer and 8,000 L.f. Of 8" Sanitary Sewer Pipe, Including, but Not Limited to: Mobilization and Setup; Dewatering; Bypass Pumping; Removal and Disposal of Sludge, Grit and Solids; Internal Video Inspection of the Sewer; and Preparation of Inspection Documents. The Sewer Lines to Be Inspected Are Located in Various Streets and Easements in Victory Gardens. The Contract Must Be Completed Within 50 Calendar Days Commencing 20 Calendar Days From the Date of Issuance of the Notice of Award. Contract Is Subject to All of the Department of Labor Safety and Health Regulations and to the Applicable Provisions of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970. All Bids Shall Be Made on the Forms Furnished and Shall Be Enclosed in a Sealed Envelope Marked With the Name and Address of the Bidder, the Name of the Owner, the Contract Number and Title. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond in the Amount of Ten Percent (10%) (Not to Exceed $20,000) of the Total Bid, Payable to the Owner, as a Guarantee That if the Contract Is Awarded to the Bidder He Will Enter Into a Contract With the Owner. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish Payment and Performance Bonds Each in an Amount Equal to One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Award. Each Bidder Shall Submit With His Proposal a Certified Consent of Surety Document Stating That the Surety Company Will Provide Him With the Required Payment and Performance Bonds in the Event of a Contract Award. The Attention of the Bidder Is Called to the Conditions of Employment to Be Observed and Minimum Wage Rates to Be Paid Under the Contract. The Successful Bidder Shall Be Required to Comply With the Provisions of the Department of Labor's Current Wage Rate Determination, the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, the Copeland Act, and the Davis-bacon Act. During the Performance of This Contract, the Contractor Shall Be Required to Comply With the Requirements of P.l. 1975, C.127, Regarding Affirmative Action (N.j.a.c. 17:27). Bidders Shall Be Registered With the Department of Labor Division of Wage and Hour Compliance as Required by the Public Works Contractor Registration Act (Pwcra) P.l. 1999, C.238-n.j.s.a. 34:11-56.48 Et Seq., and Shall Submit a Copy of Their Registration Certificate With the Proposal Package in Order to Be Eligible for Consideration for Award of This Contract. This Contract Is Subject to the Provisions of the Business Registration Law, P.l. 2004, C. 57, N.j.s.a. 52:32-44, and Bidders Must Submit a Copy of Their Registration Certificate With the Proposal Package in Order to Be Eligible for Consideration for Award of This Contract. Each Bidder Must Complete the Ownership Disclosure Statement, the Non-collusion Affidavit and the Affirmative Action Assurance Form Contained in the Proposal Package in Order to Be Eligible for Consideration for Award of This Contract. The Contract Will Be Awarded to the Lowest Responsible Bidder, as Set Forth in the Contract Documents, the Right Being Reserved by the Borough to Reject All Proposals or Any Proposal Which May Be Informal or the Acceptance of Which for Any Other Reasons Would Be Detrimental to the Best Interests of the Borough, and to Waive Informalities.
