Renovation of a municipal facility in Port Townsend, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The work required for this project includes the work as indicated in these Contract Documents. The work required for this project includes: Facility improvements at the Point Hudson Marina as described below includes but is not limited to: Removing and upland disposal of the existing creosote timber pile, breakwater and bulkhead riprap, navigation aids, timber walkway, and steel piles. Installation of new steel breakwaters and bulkhead, consisting of steel pipe pile and riprap, habitat rock nursery, timber walkway (south breakwater), upland improvements, dredging, and navigation aids. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty, either a Certified Check or Bid Bond in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the Bid.This project will be partially funded with Federal funds from the United States Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration and therefore is subject to the Federal laws and regulations associated with that program. It is also partially funded by the Taxpayers of Washington State and is subject to state prevailing wage laws.All questions must be directed in writing to Matt Klontz (matt@portofpt.com). The Port of Port Townsend reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive technicalities or irregularities and to accept any bid if such action is believed to be for the best interest of the Port.
