Site work and paving for a road / highway in Mansfield, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Board of Trustees of Mifflin Township, Richland County will accept bids for the improvement of township roads, by PAVING with ASPHALT (O.D.O.T. 448-1) and MILLING based on specifications prepared by the Mifflin Township Road Superintendent. Bids shall be in a sealed envelope and clearly marked "BID FOR 2022 PAVING PROGRAM" along with company name. Monday through Thursday until the deadline for submittal of the proposals. All bids shall be on company letterhead and be signed by authorized representative of that company. All bid forms presented in bid specs must be completed. Successful bidder will also include the cover sheet with grand total construction cost. The attention of bidders is directed to the special statutory provisions, RC 4115.02 et seq., governing the prevailing rate of wages to be paid to laborers and mechanics employed on public improvements, and also to RC 153.59 regarding nondiscrimination. The Board of Trustees of Mifflin Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to accept the lowest responsive responsible bid, which best fits the needs of the Township.
