The Project is for the loading, hauling and land application of approximately 3,500 cubic yards per year of dried, anaerobically digested biosolids from the Salt Creek Sanitary District wastewater treatment plant. Biosolids shall be removed every three months and applied to agronomic or other suitable types of land in accordance with all local, state and federal regulations and any local, state or federal permits issued to the District for such activities. All work shall be completed in accordance with Contract Documents and Specifications for Land Application of Dried Biosolids and any addenda thereto. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. All Bids shall be submitted in accordance with Instructions for Bidders and shall be accompanied by a Bid guarantee consisting of bank cashier's check, bank draft or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total Bid as provided under terms of said Instructions for Bidders and Specifications. Complete instructions for filing Bids are included in the Instructions for Bidders. Salt Creek Sanitary District reserves the right to reject all Bids, to waive or not to waive any information therein or to accept the proposal which is considered to be in the best interest of Salt Creek Sanitary District. Award will be made to the low, responsive responsible Bidder.
