The Brown County Commissioners are seeking qualified Lead Abatement Contractors to perform necessary functions for its PY 22 Community Housing Impact and Preservation Program (CHIP). Contractors joining the program will be asked to specifically bid projects where scopes of work include Lead Abatement. Qualifications must be compliant with OAC-3701-32-08 or OAC 3701-32-10. Contractors accepted into the program will also have the opportunity to bid non-abatement projects if they so wish. All such proposals must be responsive to the Content of Proposal section of this RFQ/RFP and must meet the content of criteria as outlined herein. These services are financed with federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program funds and Home Investments partnership (HOME) funding from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) as administered by the Ohio Development Services Agency (ODSA). The Brown County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and ail proposals based on the information supplied and the response from the references provided. The County is required to have the services of qualified individuals or firms to undertake Lead Abatement where selected projects require and are therefore seeking to enlist the services of such firms or individuals as contractors in the program.
