Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
The Town of Fort Mill is looking for a company/firm to renovate the women's and men's showers at our YMCA complex. Deadline for receipt of vendor questions May 31, 2022 The Town reserves the right to change the solicitation schedule or issue amendments to the solicitation at any time. All respondents submitting qualifications agree to abide by all relevant provisions of the South Carolina Code of Laws as they apply. Remove the existing shower partitions and hardware. Remove all of the shower hardware and accessory items from the wall. Repair and fill the voids located on the walls and adjacent areas. Scrape, grind, and sand down the existing coating on the shower floors to obtain a smooth working surface. Acid wash areas to removal all greases and biological growth. Clean and prep surfaces to receive a 2-part epoxy system that will include colored flake scheme and shark grit for non-slip traction and performance. Apply a marine grade, pro block primer to shower walls and ceilings. Apply a high humidity, high moisture level coating on the walls to seal all joints, cracks, voids, and transitions. Install new shower hardware, shower partitions and accessories.
