Site work for a pipeline in Newton, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a pipeline.

THE PROJECT GENERALLY CONSISTS OF installation of landfill gas collection wells and HDPE collection pipe to expand the existing system at Unit 2 and Unit 3 of the Blackburn Resource Recovery Facility. Questions regarding the intent or Scope of Work must be delivered in writing to Pam Gainey via email (pgainey@catawbacountync.gov). To be given consideration, questions must be received by 5:00 pm on May 24, 2022. Bidders must comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246 as amended, which prohibits discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex or national origin. Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Davis-Bacon Act, the Anti-Kickback Act, the Contract Work Hours Standard Act, and 40 CFR 33.1016, and 40 CFR 60-4. Bidders must comply with the requirements of the State of North Carolina and be appropriately licensed as a Contractor as provided in General Statutes Chapter 87. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive informalities, or to reject nonconforming, non-responsive, or conditional bids. The Owner reserves the right to award a contract to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder or bidders, taking into consideration quality, performance and time. A bid security/bond, payment bond, and performance bond are not required for this project.
