The project is designed to remove debris from the City of Mesquites earthen / hybrid channels in various locations by hand or machine. Bidder must submit, with their Bid, a Cashiers check, Certified check or a Bid Bond from an approved surety company, in the amount of five percent (5%) of their Bid as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and guarantee forms, if required, within 10 days after notice of award of contract. The successful bidder must furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price, from an approved Surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety, and acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding Certificates of Authority from the Secretary of the Treasury of the United States, or another Surety acceptable to the City Further information concerning the procurement may be obtained by email only from the City of Mesquite Engineering Division - Justin Stoker, PE, CFM, Assistant Director of Public Works, jstoker@cityofmesquite.com assigned City Project Manager.
