Project no: 19.0735 The Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) intends to hire a Design/Build Team comprised of a General Contractor supported by subcontractors and an A/E with supporting technical consultants to design and construct the following project: Campus View Suites Phase III The project estimated cost is $54,000,000.00 for construction and design. This design/build project will include This design/build project will provide Utah Tech University with a student housing complex that meets the following requirements: Construction and design budget and will require interior signage, exterior signage, branding, IT/AV infrastructure and terminations, design, design complexities, reimbursables, FF&E design, landscape, sub-consultants, specialty consultants, civil, mechanical, electrical, structural, programming, demolition of Nisson Buildings, site, building, and associated construction costs. Anticipated 141,100 square feet. Minimum 500 bed count. 4-6 beds per unit. Multi-level structure. Suite Style. Suite rooms should be no smaller than phase II. Hall widths should maintain widths from phase II. Laundry facility on each level. RA locations on each floor. Speed drop computer/printer stations. Managers apartment, lockable admin areas w/ 3 offices and small conference room, mail room, multi-purpose room, custodial room on each floor, storage room on each floor. The building must include a minimum of three elevators. The building must have a mimimum or two trash rooms w/ chute. Kitchenette will be provided in each unit. Provide a storage/pantry closet at each unit. A central full kitchen should be located on each floor. Located in the kitchen will be a full size fridge, two dishwashers, two sinks w/ disposal, two microwaves, and two cook top range ovens. The applicances should be arranged in the kitchen to be used in seprate areas of the room. A separate lounge near the kitchen should exist on each floor. The building needs to include a small grocery store on level one. The building should include one large game room for pool, foosball, ping pong, and TV. The building should include a work out room on level one. The building should include a small study room on each floor. The building should include indoor bike storage on level one. The building should include outdoor balconies at each unit. Outdoor amenities such as natural gas BBQ area, and artificial putting green, and other space. Turn around and pick-up and drop off area. The Management Plans, References, Statement of Qualifications, and Design Proposal documents must be submitted by 12:00 PM on Friday, June 17, 2022 to DFCM, State Office Building, 4315 S. 2700 W., FL 3, Taylorsville, Utah 84129-2128 and emailed to dfcmcontracts@utah.gov. The Cost Proposal, Bid Bond, and Value Engineering Proposal are to be emailed to dfcmcontracts@utah.gov by 12:00 PM on Wednesday, June 29, 2022.
