A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The approximate extent and character of the Work for the Runway 2/20, Apron, and Stub Taxiway Rehabilitation Project is generally described as follows: This project includes the rehabilitation of Runway 2/20 (approximately 6506'X100') Apron, and Stub Taxiway at the Heart of Georgia Regional Airport. Rehabilitation includes milling, hot mix asphalt, crack sealing, pavement markings grooving, and drainage improvements. Bidders shall inform themselves concerning Georgia Laws and comply with same. If awarded, the time allowed for Substantial Completion on Runway 2/20, Apron, and Stub Taxiway Rehabilitation is Sixty (180) consecutive calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed for Construction. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond with good and sufficient surety or sureties approved by the owner for faithful acceptance of the contract, payable to, in favor of, and for the protection of the OWNER in an amount equivalent to five percent (5%) of the total amount payable by the terms of the contract or, in lieu thereof, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or cash in equal amount.
