PCU Renovations - 60 Cambridge St. N / 43 Bruyere St. Project Description: The intent of this bid call is to obtain an offer to perform demolition and new construction work for renovations and modifications to the 5th floor (south, B, C, D wings), an area on the ground floor (north, A & B wings) at Saint-Vincent Hospital, PLUS work at Elisabeth Bruyere Hospital to occur on the 5th floor (B, D, E & J wings). The project will be tendered as one package requiring the City of Ottawa's involvement for the Saint-Vincent site only (Building Permit required). Saint-Vincent Hospital scope will involve architectural, mechanical and electrical disciplines and will see the construction of a quantity of new offices (ground and fifth floors), plus a refresh of existing building finishes (flooring, paint, millwork, new lighting, with some mechanical reconfigurations) throughout the patient wings. Elisabeth Bruyere Hospital scope will involve architectural, mechanical and electrical disciplines, and is generally more cosmetic in nature (compared to the SVH scope). The project will involve a refresh of existing paint finishes throughout, lighting upgrades (primarily in the corridors), with limited flooring repairs and mechanical scope. Work at Saint-Vincent Hospital is to commence first, ASAP upon award, and Elisabeth Bruyere Hospital scope will begin up to (4) weeks after occupancy at Saint-Vincent. (Once the patients have moved from Elisabeth Bruyere to Saint-Vincent). The project involves work at two of Bruyere Continuing Care's Hospital sites, Saint-Vincent Hospital located at 60 Cambridge Street N, and Elisabeth Bruyere Hospital located at 43 Bruyere Street, Ottawa ON.
