The purpose of the bid is to solicit competitive bids from qualified contractors to prep and paint the exterior of the Chatham County Aquatic Center located at 7240 Sallie Mood Drive, Savannah, GA 31406. Paintable surface is estimated at 15,000 square feet. The pre-bid conference will be May 26, 2022 at 10:00am at the Aquatic Center. Detailed specifications are as follows: Description of Work: Pressure clean exterior of the building to remove dirt and mildew Prep and paint all metal handrails and pickets on all levels to match existing colors. Existing color is white. Exact paint color will be provided by the Project Manager. There are a total of five (5) handrails, two (2) on either side of the front entry stairs, two (2) on either side of the ADA ramp, and one (1) 136ft long railing along the wall adjacent to the employee parking on the North side of the building. Prep and paint all stucco to match existing colors. Existing color is beige/tan and an exact paint color will be provided by the Project Manager. Paint front entrance stairs to match existing colors. An exact paint color will be provided by the Project Manager. Stripe parking spaces for staff parking area next to building.
