Site work and paving for a road / highway in Glen Allen, Virginia. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The County of Henrico is proposing to improve 1.75 miles of Woodman Road to provide a four-lane divided roadway between Hungary Road and Mountain Road. The project includes turn lane improvements, a shared use path, and sidewalk along the corridor. Pedestrian crossings with push buttons and count down timers will be provided at each signalized intersection. The project is being designed as an urban-low speed, Minor Arterial roadway with a 35-mph speed limit. As of December 12, 2024, project is in design phase. Right of Way Acquisition: December 2025. Utility Relocation: December 2026. Begin Construction: Spring 2028. Project Completion: Spring 2030.
