All Requests for Approved Equals/Clarifications and Submittal of Questions during the solicitation phase of this project shall be directed to Mark Quiroz, Buyer, in the Purchasing Department at the aforementioned address. You may email your written requests to mquiroz@bart.gov. All Requests for Approved Equals/Clarifications and Questions concerning this project must be received in writing by the District no later than May 19, 2022, 4:00 P.M. Pacific Standard Time. The District's written Response to Requests for Approved Equals/Clarification and Submittal of Questions shall be posted Electronically no later than May 26, 2022 , 4:00 PM Pacific Standard Time Bidders should note that this IFB is subject to the District's Local Small Business Program, that includes a preference for Suppliers that are located WITHIN EITHER ALAMEDA, CONTRA COSTA, OR SAN FRANCISCO COUNTIES and certified as a Small Business by the California Department of General Services (DGS). Local Small Business Preferences: For Prime Contracts designated for an LSB Prime Preference, an eligible LSB Bidder may be granted a preference of 7% of the Bid Price of the lowest responsible Bidder, up to a maximum of $150,000. LSB Prime Bidders will be granted the percentage preference on their Bid Price only during evaluation for determining the Award of the Contract. However, the actual Contract Award will be for the amount of the original Bid.
