Site work and paving for a road / highway in Redding, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work consists, in general, of widening a portion of Riverland Drive (County Road No. 2H16) beginning at the intersection of Knighton Road (County Road No. 3H11) and extending southerly 1.95 miles along Riverland Drive to an existing pedestrian path. The widening of the existing roadway will involve construction of new paved shoulders on both sides of the traveled way to provide 11' wide travel lanes, 7' wide paved shoulders, and 2' wide unpaved shoulders. Vegetation removal will occur throughout the project as will tree removal at various locations along the project corridor. Driveways will be reconstructed, culverts will be replaced and/or extended, signs and mailboxes will be relocated. Thermoplastic traffic stripe, pavement markings, and reflective markers will be placed. Pre-Qualification for Bidders: Not Required License Type Required: CA Class A or combo of Class C DBE Goal Percentage: 7.4% Project Duration: 45 Work Days Liquidated Damages: $4,200.00 Per Calendar Day Bid Bond Percentage: 10%
