Renovation of a medical facility in Madison, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
As of August 28, 2023, the project has been awarded and noticed to proceed has been issued, however, a current status of and a timeline for construction have not been confirmed. In general, the work consists of: the installation of Boiler No. 6, purchased under a separate project and contract, and the removal of existing Boiler No. 2. Additional work includes revisions to the existing Heating and Chiller Plant equipment to supply adequate capacity for electrical, water, steam, condensate, treatment chemicals, natural gas, fuel oil and other items necessary to support the proper plant functions. Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany each bid submitted The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin’s prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements. Base Bid will be received for: A single lump sum bid for All Work. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
