Questions Due Date: May 20th 2022, 2:00 PM CDT Provide all labor and materials for the replacement, including finish of the gym floor, per CPS specifications: (Estimated square footage is 6100 square feet, area to be verified by bidders at walkthrough) Scope includes: o Document all existing court markings and equipment inserts or anchors. New court markings are to be placed in the same locations as existing o Remove/relocate bleachers o Removal and disposal of existing wood flooring and subflooring o Inspection existing sleepers, bid to include all materials and labor to correct or replace up to 10% of sleepers which could be found to be defective. If more than 10% of sleepers require repair or replacement, change order to be requested o Install sleepers required to provide sound attachment of substrate. o Underlayment - plywood sheathing at right angles to long dimension of room (or at right angles to the main playing court). Butting ends and sides loosely. o Install flooring in accordance with CPS Specifications, sample options to be provided to School Principal for approval. o Ensure gymnasium flooring is leveled, sanded and finished according to CPS Specifications below. o Game Lines: Apply game lines, markings to match original, between seal and first coat of finish. All lines to be laid out to meet current High School (IHSA) game court regulations. o Apply game lines accurately, straight with sharp edges in colors selected by the Principal. o Provide center court school logo per School Administration approval. Provide 3' wide border line at competition basketball court. o Install vent cove base to walls with base cement or screws. Use pre-molded outside corners and mitered inside corners. o Install aluminum thresholds anchored to concrete beyond the limits of wood floor system. o Install volleyball sleeves and cover plates in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and CPS Specifications. o Reinstall bleachers
