Davis School District is requesting bids for the construction of a pole barn at the Catalyst Center at 1265 Sportsplex Drive, Kaysville, UT 84037. Bid Bond is required at the time of the bid and Performance and Payment Bonds will be required after the RFB is awarded. Questions and answers are due by May 31st. The selected contractor will be required to furnish, deliver, and build the barn per the drawings. The barn will have concrete pier footings for each pole. There will be an alternate line item to provide a finished concrete pad. The pole barn design must meet local and state codes, snow loads, and have the appropriate concrete depth of 6" to support equipment and projects that will be built inside the structure. The building will be heated at a later point and will need insulation installed by the contractor. Power and plumbing will be done independent of the pole barn contract. Contractor shall always be responsible for providing and maintaining a clean, safe, and secure working area until the building is complete. Contractor shall be responsible for providing barriers, signage, supervision, etc. to achieve a secure area. Contract will provide, at a minimum, a oneyear workmanship/labor warranty. Any other associated material warranty documentation will be requested when the building is complete.
