ARROYO SECO TRUNK SEWER REHABILITATION PHASE 1, located in the Cities of Alhambra, San Marino, and South Pasadena, California. The work consists of rehabilitation of approximately 4,843 feet of existing 15- to 30-inch non-reinforced concrete pipe (NRCP), reinforced concrete pipe (RCP), cast iron pipe (CIP), and vitrified clay pipe (VCP) on the Arroyo Seco Trunk Sewer Sections 2, 3 & 5 and Chapel Avenue Trunk Sewer Sections 1 and 3 with cured in place (CIPP) liner and rehabilitate twenty-eight (28) adjacent manholes. This project will also remove approximately 2,234 feet of 16- to 18-inch VCP and CIP sewer on the Arroyo Seco Trunk Sewer Section 5 from service, and all appurtenant work. Each bid shall be submitted electronically and must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond with an approved surety company as surety, payable to Los Angeles County Sanitation District No. 16 Bonds for the faithful performance of the contract and for the payment of laborers and materialmen that are issued by suretiesthat are listed in the latest version of the U.S. Department of Treasury Circular 570 and that are authorized to issue bonds in the State of California, and whose bonding limitation shown in the circular is sufficient to provide bonds in the amount of the contract, will be deemed approved unless specifically rejected. The Board of Directors may reject all bids. Unless all bids are rejected, award will be made to the low, responsive, responsible bidder. The work of construction must be completed within 150 WORKING DAYS after the date in the Notice to Proceed.
