Site work and paving for a civil project in Rye Brook, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Demolition and removal of an existing asphalt path, partial regrading of the path, path drainage improvements, furnishing and installing of a new path, and appurtenant work all in accordance with Town of Rye requirements. No bids will be received or considered after the time stated above. A Certified Check or Bond payable to the Town of Rye shall accompany the sealed bid, for the sum equal to 5% of the bid price. The checks of the unsuccessful bidders shall be returned within 45 days of the bid award. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and clearly marked "IMPROVEMENTS TO THE CRAWFORD PARK TRAIL. The Rye Town Park Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities at their discretion, and to award contracts in a manner deemed to be in the best interests of the Rye Town Park Commission even if such award is to other than the lowest bidder. M/WBE participation is encouraged. This project is funded in part by a grant from the State and Municipal Facilities Program ("SAM"). It is intended that, whenever possible, positive recommendations will be presented to the Commission so that an awarding of the bid can be made at the next scheduled meeting. Your cooperation in adhering to the procedures outlined above and contained within the specifications would be greatly appreciated.
