Renovation of a water / sewer project in Clinton, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The work will include but is not limited to worksite preparation, tank coating removal, tank repairs, tank priming, tank coating, and tank testing. The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, supervision, trade skills, materials, and equipment required for this project as described in the Construction Documents. The Contract will allow 30 calendar days for completion of the work from the notice to proceed. Contract documents cannot be purchased through the mail. Bidders requesting Contract Documents by courier service shall cover the costs of shipping. SUBURBAN CONSULTING ENGINEERS, INC. will not be held responsible for contract documents purchased via courier service. One hard copy and one electronic copy of the Bids shall be made on the forms provided and made part of the Contract Documents. A certified check or cashier's check made payable to the order of the Town of Clinton, or a duly executed Bid Bond, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of each bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 must be deposited by the Bidder together with a Surety Consent evidencing that They can obtain the required Performance Bond. The successful Bidder will be required to deliver to the Owner an executed Performance Bond of a responsible indemnity company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of the New Jersey State Statutes: N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 Affirmative Action Section 1 of P.L.1977, c.33 Statement of Ownership (N.J.S.A. C.52:25-24.2) N.J.S.A. 40A:11-18 American Goods and Products to be Used Where Possible Section 21 of P.L.1971, c.198 Guarantee to be Furnished with Bid (N.J.S.A. C.40A:11-21) Section 22 of P.L.1971, c.198 Surety Company Certificate (N.J.S.A. C.40A:11-22) Section 16 of P.L.1971, c.198 Listing of Subcontractors (N.J.S.A. C.40A:11-16) Section 1 of P.L.2001, c.134 Business Registration (N.J.S.A. C.52:32-44) If awarded a contract, your company/firm is required to comply with requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. The bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope with the name and address of the bidder and bid name clearly printed on the front of the envelope and addressed to the "Town Clerk, Town of Clinton, New Jersey". The Town of Clinton reserves the right to consider bids for sixty (60) days after their receipt. The right is reserved to waive any informalities, to accept bids which it deems most favorable to the interest of the Town to make an award on each item separately or as a whole and to accept any Bid or to reject any or all Proposals in accordance with the Specifications and the Bid forms.
