Purpose of Procurement Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract(s) with a qualified supplier(s) who will provide KSU - Fire Alarm System Inspections, Testing, Maintenance & Repair Services including Labor and Materials to Kennesaw State University (hereinafter, KSU) as further described in this eRFP. This solicitation does not commit KSU to make an award and the University reserves the right to accept, reject or cancel this eRFP in part or in its entirety as determined to be in the best interest of the University. Objective KSU intends to enter into an agreement with a qualified supplier(s), to perform maintenance and repair services to the fire alarm systems located on KSUs Kennesaw and Marietta Campuses for an initial term of one (1)-year, with the option to renew the contract for up to four (4) one (1)-year terms. KSU contemplates award of a contract(s) resulting from the eRFP to the responsive and responsible supplier(s), with the overall highest combined (technical and cost) score. KSU reserves the right to make a single award or no award, if these options are in the best interest of KSU. Award may be in the aggregate, or by line item, or by group, whichever is determined to be in the best interest of KSU. Overview of the eRFP Process The objective of the eRFP is to select one supplier to provide the goods and/or services outlined in this eRFP to KSU. This eRFP process will be conducted to gather and evaluate responses from suppliers for potential award. All qualified suppliers are invited to participate by submitting responses, as further defined below. After evaluating all suppliers responses received prior to the closing date of this eRFP and resolution of any contract exceptions, the preliminary results of the eRFP process will be publicly announced, including the names of all participating suppliers and the evaluation results.
