Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Cando, North Dakota. Completed plans call for the construction of a 28,000-square-foot elderly care / assisted living facility; and 48,000-square-foot medical facility.
Project consists of a 76,000 square foot critical access hospital and nursing home for TCHA in Cando. The replacement project will consist of a 10 bed acute care hospital, a 30 bed long term care facility, and a five bed basic care facility. Work includes updated to code compliant inpatient and outpatient care spaces, new spaces for the emergency department and diagnostic imaging, as well as updates in areas supporting physical therapy, laboratory, ambulatory surgery, and central sterile. TOWNER COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER PROCUREMENT PACKAGE 1: STRUCTURAL STEEL bids are being solicited by M. A. Mortenson Company for the Towner County Medical Center Replacement Hospital in Cando, North Dakota. Award of the Contract for each Bid Category shall be based on the Bidder whose proposal provides the best value to TCMC considering the following criteria Similar Project Experience, Team Qualifications, Proposal Price, Safety Performance, Schedule, and Local Participation. Bid Proposals will be accepted that are judged by TCMC and M. A. Mortenson Company to be in TCMCs best interest. TCMC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waiver any defects therein. See Bidding Documents for complete bidding instructions and submission requirements. PLEASE NOTE: The overall construction cost is $36 million. The construction of this bid package is not yet confirmed.
