BOROUGH OF SOMERVILLE ("Borough") is seeking Bids from qualified firms for the purchase of the Borough's Wastewater Collection System ("System") pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:62-1 (the "Municipal Sale or Lease Law"). All comments and questions concerning this Request for Bids ("RFB") and the corresponding procedures and requirements must be addressed in writing, via email, facsimile or mail, to the following: Kevin Sluka, Business Administrator Borough of Somerville Municipal Building 25 West End Ave Somerville, NJ 08876 ksluka@somervillenj.org facsimile: 908-725-2859 The Borough reserves the right to reject Bids that are not received by the Borough at the time and in the manner designated by this RFB. Any and all Bids may be rejected if deemed appropriate by the Borough in accordance with applicable law. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Bidders shall be required to provide a Bid bond with their Bid in the amount of $20,000. The System shall not be sold until the legal voters of the Borough authorize same pursuant to a referendum process.
