Project Name: Port of Entry - I-10 / Sunset Point - I-17/I-40 / I-17 to Country Club Dr. Project (TRACS) Number: F0514 / F0515 / F0516 District: Southcentral, Northcentral, and Northwest Route/MP: I-19 (Km 0 to KM 102) / I-17 (MP 251 to 341) / I-40 (MP 195 to 201) Funding Source: State Construction Funding F0514 (2024) / F0515 (2023) / F0516 (2025) safety issues in coordination with the respective Districts to identify locations to install new ITS devices. The projects on I-19 and I-17 will connect ITS devices to the existing broadband trunk line currently in construction while the project on I-40 will install new conduit and fiber. Each project will be advertised as a separate bid package. Possible device locations on I-19 for project F0514 include the following: DMS and CCTV pair installations for mainline: I-19 NB between Esperanza Boulevard and Duval Mine Road, I-19 SB between Pima Mine Road and Sahuarita Road, I-19 NB and SB and between Ruby Road and Grand Avenue. CCTV installation for interchanges: I-19 and Rio Rico Drive, I-19 and Continental Road , I-19 and Duval Mine Road, I-19 and Sahuarita Road. WWD system detection for Pima Mine Rd TI and San Savier Road TI. DMS installation: NB I-19 (KM 1) prior to Western Ave and SB I-19 (KM 15) prior to Ruby Road. These devices will be connected to the existing fiber broadband trunkline currently in construction (I-10 to SR189 scheduled completion November 2022) Design new conduit with fiber on I-19 from the end of the I-10 to SR189 project to the existing signal along SR189 and B-19, and to the Port of Entry). Possible locations for device installations on I-17 mainline for project F0515 are provided in the table below. These devices will be connected to the existing fiber broadband trunkline currently in construction (McGuireville to Flagstaff scheduled completion June 2022 and Anthem to McGuireville scheduled completion in September 2022) There will be no Pre-Submittal Meeting associated with this solicitation.
