Dodge County, NE and partners from the Joint Water Management Advisory Board (JWMAB) are accepting proposals for the following project: West Fremont Project Scoping. The project is funding under the Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) program. The program's project scoping activities are designed to develop mitigation strategies and obtain data to prioritize, select, and develop complete applications in a timely manner that result in either an improvement in the capability to identify appropriate mitigation projects or in the development of an application-ready mitigation project for BRIC or another funding opportunity. BRIC Project scoping is the successor to Advance Assistance previously used in other Hazard Mitigation Assistance programs, such as the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program, Flood Mitigation Assistance grant program, and the PreDisaster Mitigation grant program. The project planning area contains a series of City Parks (wooded areas), aged drainage ditches, levees, embankments, and the bank of the Platte River. The general area to be considered is from Highway 77 west to Ames and from the Platte River North to County Road S. Project Period of Performance end date April 18, 2025.Total Cost of Project, the budgeted contractual work for the project is $250,000.00 A total amount submitted over $250,000.00 must be justified in the proposal.
