Project involves approximately 18,000 S.Y. pavement pulverizing, 5,700 tons asphaltic concrete, 1,600 ton crushed aggregate shoulder, traffic control and restoration. A portion of this Work is part of a Local Roads Improvement Program (LRIP) Project. All Work is included in a single prime contract. Bidding Documents, including Drawings and Specifications, may be examined at the offices of Town of Randall and the Consulting Engineer during regular business hours. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. The Town of Randall reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid, or to reject any and all Bids. Award of Work described herein is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes. Each entity obtaining Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office will be designated as a Plan Holder of Record. Bids received from entities who are not Plan Holders of Record may be returned as being nonresponsive. A Bidder's qualification statement must be delivered to Town of Randall at least 5 days before the Bid opening date. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bond or Certified Check payable to Town of Randall equal to 5 percent of the Bid. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract and furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Check or Bid Bond may be forfeited to Town of Randall as liquidated damages.
