Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Elmhurst, Illinois. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
This project consists of intersection improvements at York Street and Butterfield Road (IL 56). The proposed project consists of traffic signal modernization, patching failed pavement, spot curb and gutter replacement, ADA upgrades, resurfacing the roadway with asphalt, and modified turn lanes for the east and west approaches for better traffic flow. Project is included City of Elmhurst FY 2024-2028 Budget CIP. As of November 11, 2024, project is funded for FY2024-2025. Engineer team has been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
