To be considered, any submission must be accompanied by: The bid must, to be valid, be accompanied, as bid guarantee, by a certified check in the amount of $2,500 made out to the order of the Municipality of Dudswell. At the signing of the contract, the certified check will be given to the winning bidder and will be returned to the other bidders. The quote must be valid for a period of ninety (90) days. To guarantee performance of the contract, each tender must be accompanied, at the tenderer's option: A letter of intent from a company authorized to act as Surety in the Province of Quebec as a Surety confirming that it undertakes to issue a performance bond in favor of the Contractor, with waiver of profits of discussion and division, of a value equal to 50% of the total bid for the first (1 st ) year (taxes included). The performance bond must be issued before the Contractor signs the contract if his bid is accepted. b) A letter of bank guarantee, unconditional and irrevocable, issued in favor of the Municipality of Dudswell for a value equal to 50% of the total bid for the first (1 st ) year (taxes included), this letter of bank guarantee to be valid for the entire duration of the contract.
