As of August 09th, 2022, project was awarded to Miles Resources LLC with an awarded amount of $1,757,315.50 Engineer's Estimate $1,800,000 to $2,200,000 The bids received will be publicly opened and read after 12:30 p.m. local time on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 via a live internet stream and concurrent conference call, for construction of the project hereinafter referred to as: 2022 OVERLAY PROJECT PROJECT NO. ST-902. At said time all bids will be opened and publicly read via the live internet stream and/or by concurrent conference call. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid deposit as described below. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by such bid deposit. All proposals must be made upon the regular forms provided in the Proposal Section of the contract documents. Incomplete proposals and proposals received after the time stated above will not be considered. Faxed or emailed proposals will not be considered. The Project includes asphalt paving, asphalt grinding, installation of concrete curbs, a median with landscaping and hardscaping, stormwater treatment facility, signing, channelization, traffic signal modification, traffic control, and other work described in the construction documents. Bidders utilizing alternate Bid Document sources may not receive notices of addenda and assume responsibility for completeness or accuracy of any Bid Documents received from alternate sources. Questions regarding this project shall be submitted in writing to Brenton Cook via email at bcook@seatacwa.gov no later than 5:00 PM 3 (three) business days preceding the bid opening. Questions via phone will not be accepted. Bidder must use the bond form included in the contract provisions. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within ten (10) calendar days of notification of intent to award contract, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of SeaTac. The City of SeaTac in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Sta. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4, nondiscrimination, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not discriminated against on the grounds of race, color or national origin in consideration for an award. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to determine minor irregularities or informalities, and to waive any minor irregularities or informalities. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of forty-five (45) days after the date and time set for the opening thereof. Bid securities of the three lowest bidders may be held by the City until official award of the contract.
