Runway 14-32 Lighting and Seal Coat Additional requirements apply. Runway 14-32 Lighting and Seal Coat project includes replacement of runway lights, construction of a new airfield lighting vault, implementation of a new airport control lighting control and monitoring system (ACLMS), and runway pavement maintenance. The major electrical elements of work consist of: o Replacement of elevated and in-pavement lights, including lighting fixtures, transformers, splices and cable. o Removal of existing airfield circuits and reinstallation of new cable in exiting conduits o Repair of isolated in-pavement light base structures o A new precast concrete vault enclosure for airfield lighting circuits including, regulator installations and a new electrical service o ACLMS stations networked together and installed in Vault, Air Traffic control Tower, Airport Operations and Maintenance building, and a roaming computer. o Isolated areas of trenching and conduit installation Pavement maintenance is not eligible for Federal funding; hence, improvements are included in a separate bid schedule. Major pavement maintenance elements of work include: o Removal of surface contaminants, including rubber, pavement markings, and general dust/debris o Crack sealing o Application of rapid cure seal coat with aggregate o Temporary and permanent pavement markings with glass beads. Estimated Project Cost Range: $4,500,000 - $5,000,000 This project contains contract bid items, as defined in the bidding forms, and specifications.
