The Rural Municipality of Mount Hope No. 279 (RM 279) will be accepting quotations for the replacement of a dilapidated culvert as specified below and subject to the conditions and waivers noted. Contractors shall provide their quotation and supporting documents on or before the time and date noted. Basic Specifications: - The culvert replacement is situated at the SE 16-30-19 W2. - The main objective of this project is to replace the dilapidated culvert with a new 1000mm x 26m culvert and return the road to its original state. - Contractor will be required to dig down approximately 15-20 feet to remove dilapidated culvert and install new 1000mm x 26m culvert at ground level; once installed, the new culvert is to be backfilled to original road height (compaction will be required while backfilling); road slopes must have approximately 3:1 slope; no gravelling will be required; RM 279 will secure required dirt for project. - RM 279 will provide the required culvert. - Contractor will identify start/finish dates and provide a list of equipment used, prices per hour if applicable. - If quoting hourly rates, a maximum end cost will be included which we are aware may contain contingency costs. - Contractor shall keep Foreman advised of progress and notify Foreman immediately upon completion of project to enable municipality to place road gravel on the new construction. - Quotations shall have all taxes included. Conditions and Waivers of This RFQ - This RFQ is subject to the following conditions and waivers: - RM 279 reserves the right to accept or reject any and all quotations submitted should the quotations not meet the requirement of the municipality.
