The City of Gretna is requesting bids for the repair and renovation of the lighted marquee located at the entrance of Mel Ott Park. The work to be completed is below: Top Logo: Removal of top logo. Refurbishment to include new faces with new design to be created by bidder and approved by the City of Gretna, electrical retrofit to LED fixtures, new hardware and mounting bracketry. Installation of top logo complete with new, approved faces attached with new welded transition rings. Sponsorship Panels: Removal of upper and lower sponsorship panels on both sides of the marquee. Replacement of flex face clips and retainers. Retrofit of cabinet lights to LED Replacement of sponsorship panels with wording to be approved by the City of Gretna. Electronic Displays: Removal of the existing display panels. Replace with the Watchfire display 16mm Twin Pack with full color and steel frame. Display panels must have 5 year warranty. Pole Covers: Repair of existing pole covers. Replacement as needed inclusive of hardware and mounting bracketry. Sand and paint in color approved by the City of Gretna. Overall: All metal surfaces will be grinded, sanded and painted to protect from the elements. Paint color will require approval by the City of Gretna prior to application.
