The bidder shall provide grass cutting and debris pick-up of the Sewerage and Water Board canals and other sites as outlined in the specifications. The following work must be performed to clean and maintain the Board's canals, servitudes and rights of ways: cut grass on along canals, curbs, servitudes and rights of way. Additionally, the work includes the removal of trash and litter from canals and various Board sites and haul to a proper disposal site Additional work to be performed shall consist of cutting of grass from top to bottom, cutting grass and trimming of curbs and fence lines with weed eaters, trimming trees, cutting up and removal of fallen trees, etc., removal of decaying trees that are on S&WB's servitudes, removal of all debris such as cut grass, baskets, tires, sofas, stoves, refrigerators, trees, etc. from the canals and policing of area for paper and debris before cutting, trimming, or use of weed eaters The contractor shall provide the Grounds Maintenance Supervisor a 24-hour notice prior to performing the work and a monthly plan for work to be accomplished. The work sites are canals within the limits of the City of New Orleans and located on the Eastbank. The contractor is required to maintain the integrity of the various Sewerage and Water Board facilities and open canals Questions and/or Clarifications Are Due by 11:00 Am on June 3, 2022, to Connor Metcalf at Cmetcalf@swbno.org. The Performance Bond for this contract is fifty-percent (50%) of the full contract. The bond shall be executed by a surety company legally authorized to do business in the State of Louisiana and satisfactory to the Sewerage and Water Board
