The Town of Simsbury is soliciting bids for HOPMEADOW STREET CONNECTIVITY PROJECT, SIMSBURY. The scope of work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment necessary for the construction of a sidewalk corridor along the west side of Hopmeadow Street beginning at the southern end at Hoskins Road and continuing north to the CTDOT Storage Facility/Park n Ride. The design will include a 5ft wide concrete sidewalk along Hopmeadow Street that is approximately 4,400 LF with a varying snow shelf for a majority of the project area. This project is subject to State of Connecticut Prevailing Wage requirements. Contractors must comply with the State of Connecticut Department of Administrative Services (DAS) Contractor Prequalification Program for any contract over $100,000.
